Make Way for Maghreb
Where will the world of tile take us today? Perhaps Algeria, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, or Tunisia? In fact, we are visiting all of those countries today because our next tile brings us to the Maghreb region of Northern Africa.
It is no surprise that Tabarka Studio has been a focal point of our world tile tour, considering the company was started on the other side of the world! Tabarka began with the search for a rare tile in a hidden corner of Istanbul, Turkey. The company finds inspiration from the random, the mundane, and the unexpected.
