Located in the heart of Oregon, Encore Ceramics is a wonderfully unique tile manufacturer with a special mission. Each and every piece of tile is hand-glazed by American artisans and made of natural materials.
Each piece is handmade and glazed by hand, so Encore’s tiles have high levels of variation. This is an expected and appreciated feature of their tile! No two pieces are alike.

This is the Tamara tile in Brazil Crackle.
As you can see, each tile looks a little different. Due to the glaze process, some of the color pools at the corners of each piece. This effect adds dimension, depth, and visual interest!
This is called the Circles Medium Mosaic, which is offered in several different glazes. The customization options are nearly endless! As you can see, the varying colors all embody unique aesthetics. This mosaic is a great option for kitchens, showers, patios, and even pools.
Pictured to the right is another fantastic example of the high-variation glazes. One of our clients decided to go with a hexagon field tile in a precocious glazed called Dream. This is a rusty amber color that can range from gold to yellow, while incorporating opalescence with pink and purple hues.
Around the office, we often refer to this space as the “Honeycomb Lux Bathroom.” We designed it with a transitional theme in mind. The richly colored walls compliment the Encore Ceramics tile perfectly. Check out the video below to see more details:
It should be noted that many of Encore Ceramics’ tiles are also vitreous making them great for both indoor and outdoor applications.
