Artistic Tile Customization

While Artistic Tile is well known for their abundance of stocked materials, what some may not know is all of the custom options available. Thanks to the resources and talented in-house team at Artistic Tile, designers, architects, builders, and homeowners now have the option to custom-design and custom-cut the mosaics and field tiles of their choice.

With over 5o different mosaic patterns and 15 field tile sizes, clients have the freedom to mix and match colors, materials, and textures.

Artistic Tile has invested in their innovative technologies to deliver the best product possible. With such beautifully intricate designs, a waterjet is often required. A few years ago, Artistic Tile added a custom Waterjet machine to their facility, allowing for more precise cuts to be made. This cost effective and computerized machine ensures that clients can have complexly designed tile, without a problem.

This pattern for example, is called the Elyisum Garden. Above, it is pictured in Calacatta Gold. This intricate design is made possible through waterjet technology, and can be customized with other colors.

It is exciting that the customization options are essentially limitless, but can feel overwhelming at times when choosing the perfect tile. To begin, it’s helpful to choose the design first, and then select colors and materials. Here are just a few of Artistic Tile’s designs to pick from:

The Artistic Tile “Tailored To” program is designed to give customers tile that is specially curated for them. Fortunately, most of the custom tile projects have approximately a 3-4 week lead time, making it convenient for projects with approaching deadlines.

Because more intricate tile designs require more precise cutting, it can sometimes be intimidating to install such ornate pieces. Thankfully, Artistic Tile makes it easy. After using the waterjet machine to custom cut tiles, all pieces will be clearly numbered and labeled, making it an effortless installation.

It’s also worth noting that visitors at the Artistic Tile headquarters in New Jersey can go there to pick out a slab for countertops, and use that same material to create tiles and mosaics. This process results in stunning aesthetic consistency throughout the space.

Here at Palmer Todd we partner with Artistic Tile and are happy to help you with any of the customization options. Come by our showroom to look around and get started!
