Come Home to Lake Como : Custom Mosaics

Imagine walking through the foothills of the Italian alps. Sunbeams glistening on Lake Como’s serene waters. Blooming flowers are scattered along the dramatic coastline, brightly colored houses painted on the horizon. 

The fourth stop on our world tile tour: Lake Como, Italy.

Now imagine being able to look at that scenery every day, no matter where you live. For two of our clients, that vision became a reality just a few years ago. While summering at Lake Como, this couple became enamored with the breathtaking landscapes surrounding them. They desired to find a way to capture that essence and incorporate it into their new home. 

They two took it upon themselves to bring a photograph that they took of the Lake Como landscape to their interior designer, Catherine Resnick.

Catherine approached Palmer Todd to discuss the possibility of converting it into a hand-clipped mosaic design for the client’s luxury bathroom.  Palmer Todd knew that New Ravenna would be the perfect vendor to make this dream a reality.

The photo was submitted to New Ravenna; they sent us the hand rendered design for the client’s approval, and now the couple has this stunning work of art in their home:
