The Fun of Functional Design
If you find yourself walking through the Palmer Todd Showroom and come across Lisa, it’s your lucky day! Lisa Bodet works remotely as our Technical Sales Associate and comes into the office about once a month to check in. Outgoing yet quiet, Lisa thrives working behind the scenes and finds herself in her element.
Last week we were thrilled to have Lisa back in the office with the Palmer Todd Family after a long awaited visit. Her leopard print sneakers echoed through the showroom once again and then she hit the ground running.
Upon arriving, you’ll find Lisa carrying a few essentials :
1. A detailed planner
2. Plenty of colored pens
3. A picture of her family
4. Snacks for all
While working on location, Lisa resides in the back office to fulfill cabinet orders, communicate with our manufacturer, Downsview Kitchens, and take care of technicalities. While Lisa is not at the forefront of Palmer Todd, she is absolutely essential to our team! Whether working in the office or from home, her duties remain the same. Monthly visits are a great way to make sure everything is in order and touch base with the team.
Her primary responsibility is to convert cabinet designs into actual orders. This requires immaculate attention to detail, careful drafting, and order processing. What sets Lisa apart, is her appreciation for functionality in addition to beautiful aesthetics. She knows that diligently thinking through the way someone functions in their space is vital to the success of any project.
